Join us for an Ikebana (Japanese flower arranging) demonstration on the Garden patio. Artist Sharon Suimei Doi will be doing a live demonstration while sharing about the different schools of Ikebana and what makes the Sogetsu school unique. This demonstration is a part of the ‘ArtScapes in the Garden’ Exhibit, a unique exhibition of large-scale ikebana works that will incorporate Garden plant materials. Flower arrangements will be on display in the main building and throughout the Garden Thursday, March 26th to Sunday, March 29th.
The demonstration and ‘ArtScapes in the Garden’ is free to explore for members. Non-members receive access to the demonstration and exhibit with regular Garden admission. No tickets/RSVP required.
