In the spirit of Yule, two-time Grammy Award winner Mads Tolling shares the Christmas celebrations of his youth in Copenhagen, blending the authentic customs and sounds of the Nordic countries with the joy and spirit of American jazz. Cool Yule celebrates the magic of the season with a special tribute to Denmark’s Hans Christian Andersen, featuring a medley of songs from Frozen and other fables. The concert also honors Nordic holiday traditions with a salute to Julemanden (Santa Claus) and festive Yuletide classics. Enjoy jazz-infused arrangements of American holiday favorites, including “Santa Baby,” “My Favorite Things,” “The Christmas Song,” and more. Learn more at madstolling.com/cool-yule/.
