Southern Harmony: An American Portrait In collaboration with California High School
This program journeys through the rich landscapes of American music, weaving together timeless folk melodies and vibrant contemporary works. Donald Grantham's Southern Harmony anchors the program. Surrounding Grantham's work are pieces that celebrate America's diverse musical heritage, from early shape-note singing to jazz-infused harmonies and bold contemporary sounds. Join us for an evening that is at once reverent, energetic, and deeply moving.
approx. 2 hours, with one 20-minute intermission
