High Intermediate ESL Book Club - The Midnight Library

Carla's high intermediate ESL Book Club will read The Midnight Library by Matt Haig. This book club is best for high intermediate English learners. Students will read at home each week. Then we will meet as a group once a week to talk about the story, learn new vocabulary, and practice conversation. Book club will be led by Carla Passero. Meeting dates: August 18, 25; September 1, 8, 15*, 22, 29; October 6, 13, 20, 27; November 3 *Meeting will be in the Children's Area on September 15. Meeting time: Tuesday evenings 7pm - 8pm Where: CCC Room next to Member Services Desk Led by: Carla Passero Registration is open now! Book club is limited to 7 participants. Books will be provided at the first meeting for registered participants to keep, If you do not show up at the first meeting and have not made arrangements with the tutor, we will give your spot to the next learner on the wait list. We keep this group small so that safe and fruitful conversations can take place.
