The Mash Bill — A Craft Whiskey Tasting at Rosetta
The Mash Bill returns to downtown Livermore for an afternoon dedicated to great whiskey, small producers, and the chance to taste your way through some seriously interesting bottles.
This year, the entire event takes place at Rosetta, where we’ll be bringing together six or more distilleries and dozens of whiskeys for three hours of tasting and conversation. Rather than simply sampling one bottle from each producer, The Mash Bill is built around tasting whiskeys head-to-head—exploring different expressions from the same distillery, comparing styles, grains, aging, proof, and production methods, and discovering what makes each whiskey distinctive.
Expect a carefully curated mix of craft whiskey, knowledgeable representatives, and bottles you may not ordinarily encounter at your neighborhood bar or bottle shop. Whether you’re already the person everyone asks about whiskey or you’re simply curious and want to learn, this is an event designed for tasting, asking questions, comparing notes, and finding a few new favorites.

The Mash Bill begins immediately following the Altamont Cruisers car show, making it a perfect way to continue the afternoon downtown once the cars begin to roll out.
And because whiskey deserves something good to eat alongside it, Marty’s Joint will be joining us for a special food-truck pop-up during the event.
One afternoon. Six+ distilleries. Dozens of whiskeys. Three hours to taste, compare, and explore.
Come curious. Leave with a better understanding of what’s in your glass.
