Livermore Youth Council Recruitment Application Form We have an opportunity for Livermore youth in grades 7-12 who are interested in: Building community; Being the voice for youth in Livermore; Engaging with city leaders while learning about government; and finding solutions to address the needs of Livermore's youth. Livermore Youth Council (LYC) applicants should be able to take an active role in projects, and be able to participate in and attend LYC meetings, sub-committee meetings, and events. Additional responsibilities may be required if appointed as an LYC liaison to another group, or as an officer. Applications are due by Friday, July 31, 2026 at 6 p.m. and, if selected to move to the next stage, will be followed by an interview during the first week of August. Return your completed application to the Civic Center Library Information Desk or by email to njbrumley@livermoreca.gov by Friday, July 31, 2026 at 6 p.m. Attendance to meetings and LYC events by members should be considered mandatory. A total of three absences in a single school year, starting from the beginning of the new term, will be considered a voluntary resignation from LYC. Fun for the whole family! Family Storytime is a fun combination of storybooks, flannel boards, and songs to strengthen early literacy skills. Most appropriate for ages 3-5, but all ages are welcome. No registration necessary.
