Recharge your body and mind, one breath at a time. Step away from your desk and onto the mat! The library offers a free yoga class for adults at lunchtime the first Tuesday of each month. This yoga class is designed for adults and seniors of all experience levels, from beginners to seasoned practitioners. We'll explore foundational yoga poses, breathing techniques, and mindfulness practices to help you build strength, increase flexibility, and reduce stress. Each session aims to leave you feeling refreshed, centered, and more connected to your body. Come as you are and discover the transformative power of yoga in a supportive and welcoming environment. What to bring: Be sure to wear comfy clothes and bring a yoga mat along with a water bottle. Please consider bringing a blanket or towel for warmth as the room may feel chilly during final relaxation and shavasana pose. You may also bring extra towels, seat cushion, or blocks for comfort.
