Do you have a child 18-36 months old? Are you looking for children’s activities in the East Bay area? Garden Buds is a program where your child will meet the same friends each week and practice social skills in an outdoor setting while developing an interest in nature with hands-on activities. The classes will use sustainable and natural materials for the craft activities. The program will provide early education in basic plant knowledge, hands-on plant-based activities and seasonal experiences exclusive to the Ruth Bancroft Garden.
Get ready for a season of holiday cheer with Garden Buds! As the holidays approach, little ones will create festive decorations using natural materials from the Garden. They’ll craft a grapevine wreath adorned with dried plants, transform pinecones into miniature holiday trees with colorful pom-poms, and paint a reindeer planter complete with a succulent to take home and care for. Filled with stories, Garden walks, and creative crafts, this series is sure to make spirits bright!
The price is per child per event series- the November Series has 3 classes. The non-member price includes admission to the Garden for 1 caregiver on class dates.
One caregiver can accompany per child. If siblings, one caregiver can attend with two children.
