Join a joyful 90-minute family art workshop inspired by the storytelling traditions of Australian Indigenous Aboriginal dot painting. Participants will create a vibrant painting of a Mother Turtle guiding her baby turtle through flowing ocean waters using colorful dots and symbols. Along the way, families will discover how patterns and colors can tell stories about nature, guidance, and connection. A creative experience designed to spark imagination and meaningful family time.Space is limited to the first 20 kids in line the day of the program. Library staff may take photos, videos, or audio recordings at our events. Please tell us if you do not wish to be photographed, video-recorded, or audio-recorded.
