Spectacular Sixth Grade Book Club is a book discussion group for 6th graders. If you love reading books and discussing them with a group, this is the place for you! Some months we'll also have an activity to go along with the discussion. We'll meet on the second Wednesday of the month. This month, we are reading Insignificant Events in the Life of a Cactus. For our first meeting, we'll hand out the first month's book and introduce ourselves and the book club. Please bring your Alameda County Library Card with you to the meeting. An ASL (American Sign Language) interpreter or closed captioning can be provided for this program if requested at least seven (7) business days in advance. For assistance, please contact your library or accessibility@aclibrary.org.
We're celebrating Día de los niños in April with an I Spy! Find the book covers hiding in the children's area and lobby of the library for a small prize and a chance to win a book! Small prize sponsored by the Friends of the Danville Library
