Gardening for the good bugs Did you know that over 98% of the bugs we see in our gardens are good bugs? Encouraging beneficial insects is one of the best ways to effectively reduce the number of pests in your garden. In this session, you will learn about the most important beneficial insects and how to attract them. Also learn why the plants you have near your garden can have a big impact on the insects you attract. Fun for everyone! Drop in program. No registration. Presented by Kat from Our Water Our World. Our Water Our World is a joint effort by water pollution prevention agencies, participating retail stores, and pesticide distributors and manufacturers — working together to reduce the risks associated with pesticide use. Library staff may take photos, videos, or audio recordings at our events. Please tell us if you do not wish to be photographed, video-recorded, or audio-recorded. We will always respect your requests! An ASL (American Sign Language) interpreter or closed captioning can be provided for this program if requested at least seven (7) business days in advance. For assistance, please contact your library or accessibility@aclibrary.org.
